Harmonee, the latest addition to the wave making Lekki-Lagos based music label HF Music, was born Emike Ekwe on the 21st of April in Lagos-Nigeria to parents from Edo State. She started singing in her church choir as a youngster while still in Primary school.

She grew up in Lagos and is a Public Administration graduate of the Lagos State University, LASU. This child of the swinging eighties,who signed up with HF Music in mid-2014,is ready to blaze up a new musical trend in this millennium.

With musical inspirations attributable to the legendary reggae icon Bob Marley, this young diva whose strong vocal texture is a trifle high fusion of Tracy Chapman and Eryka Badu is a sure head turner any time, any day.

The video of her first single “Chocolate” will be hitting your screens anytime from now. Her follow up single, a love tune titled “Obim” (My Heart) features label mate Zeez.

She is currently in the studio cooking up more beats with the HF Music in-house producers. Harmonee is determined to actualize her childhood dreams of rocking the mic and bringing musical harmony to our world.
