In an era of interconnectivity and social networking, young talents are being revealed to the world at an ever increasing rate. Only so often, however, does a talent stand poignantly as relevant and inspirational for a generation. Jessica Domingo, a young vocalist and pop musician from Seattle, Washington, is such an artist for millennials.

Growing up in a musical household, Domingo was enveloped in different kinds of music. Her early exposure to the arts fostered her incredible talent, and thus, she released her first EP in 2010, ‘Take a Chance.’ At this time, Domingo had also begun building an impressive online presence, connecting with fans all over the world via YouTube. Garnering almost four million views, these covers offered a glimpse into a fruitful future in the industry.

‘Just Vibe’ succeeded ‘Take a Chance,’ and offered eleven original tracks of acoustic warmth and intimacy. The album was a semifinalist for the worldwide ‘Unsigned Only’ music competition in 2013. Domingo wasn’t foreign to this type of competition, however, and placed in the top three of Asian American Singing Idol, Seattle’s Pista Singing Idol, and PNT TV5’s Singing Contest.

Following ‘Just Vibe,’ Domingo toured the west coast and expanded her live repertoire. During this time, she became a mainstay at festivals like the ‘Bite of Seattle,’ which she has performed at consecutively for five years now. The end of this tour brought Domingo back to the studio, where she recorded ‘Masterpiece,’ her latest record which was released in June of 2015.

The title track of ‘Masterpiece’ won the ‘teen’ category of the International Songwriting Competition. The critical praise for the album has been unanimous as well, with both fans and critics citing Domingo as a blossoming talent well worth following. Moving forward through 2015, Domingo intends to produce new music videos, return to the studio, continue her performances, and pen some new songs. For such a young talent, her trajectory is sky high – and we’re all along for the ride.
