Music Artist and Songwriter Cheeto Gambine, originally from Duval County Jacksonville Florida, grew up the hard way...in the streets of Gwinnett County, North Atlanta, Georgia. But he is proof that with a strong will and a passion to live your dreams, anything you put your mind to is possible. It doesn’t matter who you are or where you come from, if you work for it, your time will come. 

With his father in prison, Cheeto turned to Tupac Shakur as a male influence during his childhood years, after all, he had discovered his very own talent for music at the tender age of 6 and he felt he could relate to every word that Shakur spoke in his lyrics. Cheeto’s mother, a devout Christian, didn’t approve and rap music was never allowed to be played in the house, but that didn’t stop Cheeto from listening to the late star, it only encouraged him further – he was desperate to release his own creative energy in a positive and empowering way. Heavily motivated by Tupac throughout his teenage years to be more than just another rapper, he wanted to reach out to the youth and young adults the way Tupac did for him. So, that is exactly what he put into action. 

Cheeto thrives on relating his music to the streets, down to the trials and tribulations of his life that have shaped him into the man and artist he is today. You instantly recognise that his cocky flow demands your respect, but in a way that many other artists have failed to master. “I want to be able to deliver a message with my music that everyone will be able to relate to in regards to their own life story.”  Through dedication to changing his community and helping other artists become stars on all levels, Cheeto Gambine has already started building his legacy as THE NAWFGOD and there are no signs of him ever slowing down.

Having exploded onto the rap scene through his feature on “Diamonds and Gold” from Strange Music Artist ‘Rittz’, and his successful tour with Kirko Bangz, Cheeto paved the way for his own success and he arrived on the global rap scene in January 2017 with his first release under the Star Power VIP name, ‘NawfGod: Heaven and Earth’. His first single from the mixtape, ‘Mr Miyagi’ was an instant hit and created a buzz that he had been working towards since the day he first recognised his talent.

Cheeto has worked with some impressive names in music, including Young Jeezy, Jazzy Pha and 8Ball & MJG. He also featured on G.O.O.D Music Artist; The Migos first hit single ‘Bando’.

Having moved thousands of units independently and been unsatisfied with deals being offered from major labels, Cheeto is about to embark on an independent journey that will see his incredible street buzz turn into worldwide exposure.
