Tobechukwu Victor Okoh, popularly known as Peruzzi is a Nigerian singer, song writer and performing artiste that has created a niche for himself by blending smooth singing style of R&B with the regular Afro-pop style. He rose to prominence after releasing a joint collaboration with Nigeria music legend 2baba on a song called Amaka.
His interest in music kick-started at the age of 7. He was born into a Christian family as the last child and the only son out of three. His father was an engineer, and his mother a nurse. He attended Lerato Primary School, Egbeda and Command Secondary School, Ikeja for his primary and secondary school education respectively. After graduating from college, Peruzzi went on to study Medicine and Surgery. He attended Odessa State National University, Ukraine. However, in order to focus on his music career, he pulled out from school in his fifth year and returned to Nigeria in 2013.
Peruzzi began his musical career with Golden Boy Records in 2016, before getting signed to Davido Music Worldwide in 2018. He went on to write and feature on 2baba’s hit song, Amaka, and that boosted his career.
His big break came with the release of 2baba's Amaka. He wrote the song and was also featured on it.
