Redsan is celebrated as one of the pioneer reggea/ragga artists to come out of East Africa. Redsans career took off when he won the Star Search challenge held in Nairobi, Kenya in 1998. His popularity has extended well beyond the Kenyan borders to the rest of Africa, Europe, USA and the Middle East.
The Kora Award nominee was a member of the One 2 Moja group and the East African Bashment Crew. To date he has collaborated with some of music's big names such as the Jamaican star Demarco. The dancehall tune Badder dan most, which is the artist's most recent work has received a generous amount of airplay.
