Tuti was born on June 1, in Calabar, a southern part of Nigeria. He is the third child from a family of four. He hails from one of southern Nigeria's most influential families. His dad Dr. E.S Ayuk, a former university lecturer and a renowned writer has a very huge influence in Crossriver State as not just a scholar but also a renowned politician.
In an interview with Beat Fm, he said he started writing his songs at the age of 13 and recorded his first professional song "As I AM" when he was 16. He described Tuface, T'pain, Jay Z, Kanye West, Prince Nico Mbarga, Oliver D'Coque, Faze, Styl-Plus and a host of others as major influences. The name Tuti according to him was derived from the combination of Tuface and T'pain, who he described as both his major influences.
Tuti is still an undergraduate in the University of Lagos. He penned his first record deal in December 2014 with Kay Global Music Group, and went on to release his first official single "Aunty Bukky" a DJ Coublon produced melody on May 22, 2015. He has been highly rated by music and entertainment heads as the next household name and an artist that will rule not just the Nigerian music scene but Africa at large. The song was well received by his teaming fan base as it got over 2 thousand downloads on major music blogs and was trending at number 2 on twitter most talked about topics in Nigeria, the same night it was released. Tuti went on to win the new artist of the week on One9ja radio in London, a couple of days later. Prior to the official release of Aunty Bukky under KGMG, Tuti had previously released other singles like "Tell the truth" Produced by Chocolate city's in house producer L37, T.G.I.F ft Jayglow, Put your hands up ft. Lil Kesh of YBNL, Nogere produced by Skill P and mixed by Indomix and also Shokoloko-bangoshe a song that motivated his current label boss to see the talent in him, and hand him a record deal. He had also previously released a cover to Nelly's hit song "Just a dream" titled Nge mere Gi, where fans mistook his delivery on the song for Tuface idibia.
According to Tuti, Music is what he lives for, assuring his growing fan base that they should still expect back to back hits as he still has so much to give.
