Born Babalola Falemi in Lagos State, Nigeria. Sauce Kid aka Sinzu completed his high school education in Nigeria after which he moved to the United States. Here, he cultivated the habit of rhyming although it would not show forth until February 2005 when he agreed to start up an independent recording label called Q Beats Entertainment.
In December 2005, Sinzu headed out to Nigeria with a video for the hit "Omoge wa jo'' which featured legendary AfroPop singer "Mike Okri". The video and song gained him recognition within the African music industry and also led to his nomination at the Channel O Music video awards in South Africa.
His debut album entitled African American was released under Storm Records after which the mixtape Daripoff was released online with over 20k downloads in the first week. Sinzu can also be credited for introducing DavidO into the music scene after featuring him on the 2011 hit single Carolina.
In 2019, after a short stint in prison, Sinzu came home with the release of the Better Late than Never album which featured hits like Zanku Zu featuring Zlatan and O Por Featuring Peruzzi. in 2020, he followed up with the release of an EP titled No Promo Vol1, under DavidO’s imprint 30BG/DMW.
Sauce Kid big break came in 2005 with the release of his hit single Omoge Wa Jo featuring Mike Okri under QBeats
