Olisaemeka (slashWisDom) was born in Surulere, Lagos. He is the son of Chief & Mrs. Echeazu. slashWisDom & his family eventually moved to United States of America in 1998 to complete his academic goals. He developed the art of rapping towards the end of high school, where he was known to freestyle from the cranium and make sense. His live, animated, lyrical & vivid sound that he brings to music is unlike no other. So unique with his presentation, slashWisDom engages the listeners to his soul hymn as a poetic rapper.

During his years of development, slash started drafting his plan on his musical career approach. He considers himself a poetic rapper with soul hymns that massage hearts with words. He is not a conscious musician, rather an individual who speaks with the movement of the most high. His music is emotional. In 2010, slashWisDom released his first official single titled “Microfone Testing“.

The track was a metaphor, implying an upcoming artist looking through the peep hole before walking through the door to the music industry. Since then, slashWisDom have released various singles like Ask about me, Me & You, Confusion etc. He has also worked with various acts like Teeklef, SamDee, Yesi, Afrotunes, Dj Don X etc. “slashWisDom is an artist and a definition of what art is!
